It’s amazing how life can be so busy, but in the midst of it all one can achieve ultimate peace and serenity.
When the world around you is going a million miles an hour, you can just…pause.
It’s like being in the midst of a tornado, the wind is blowing my hair around, things fly past, and the sky is the darkest shade of black, yet I remain steadfast, strong and unharmed.
My feet do not simply stand on the ground, dry and dusty; they root deep below the surface which promises security and protection for as long as I live, if I just call upon His name.
Its time like these I can truly understand what God is saying in Psalm 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God”

It is not the circumstances that we find ourselves in that give us peace or serenity, neither the joy from inside. Inner peace, true peace comes from the Lord our God in Heaven. Provider, lover, Abba.
